Big Growth Starts with Small Adventures

Regulation Comes Before Learning

A child’s ability to learn is directly connected to their ability to regulate their body and emotions. Many children today are expected to sit still, focus for extended periods, and learn in environments that do not meet their sensory needs. At young ages, the nervous system is still developing and requires movement-based input to function optimally. When children receive the sensory input their bodies need, they are better able to engage, focus, and learn new skills. At All In Therapy Services, we prioritize regulation as the foundation for learning, because meaningful skill development cannot occur without it.

Learning That Feels Like Childhood

Play Is a child’s work, not a break from learning, it is how children learn. Childhood is meant to be active, messy, playful and full of discovery. Through play, children develop motor skills, problem-solving abilities, social-emotional awareness, and self-confidence. Our sessions are intentionally play-based allowing children to engage in activities that are motivating, challenging, and developmentally appropriate.

By meeting children where they are and honoring play as their primary occupation, we create therapy experiences that are effective, joyful, and empowering.

What We Offer

Hello,

Dr. Madison Lyttle, founder and Occupational Therapist at All In Therapy Services. I earned my Doctorate at Baylor University, where my passion for whole-child, and nature-assisted therapy began.

During my doctoral capstone, I developed and implemented nature-based therapy groups for children, exploring the benefits of nature on social and emotional regulation. I also have experience with Hippotherapy and animal assisted therapy as well as experience in school-based OT both in public schools, and ABA centers. These experiences along with evidence lead to the understanding that children thrive when learning is active, sensory-rich, and connected to the natural world.

Nature is a major part of my life. I’ve traveled throughout Southeast Asia, Peru, Costa Rica, and numerous U.S. National Parks, and I enjoy kayaking, hiking, making nature-inspired art, and spending time with my baby, family, fur babies and friends.
